JVC presents three LCD TVs, available immediately in 37-, 42-, and 47-inch screen sizes, and which the company describes as environmentally friendly, super-slim LCDs.

August 7, 2009 - JVC is adding three new LCD TVs to its range: the LT-37DV1BU, LT-42DV1BU, and LT-47DV1BU. The Full HD panels will, the manufacturer says, offer crisp motion sequences thanks to 100-hertz technology, as well as providing a built-in DVB-T tuner and a USB 2.0 port for playing back photos and music.

The company draws our attention to one "outstanding feature": the "extremely high" contrast ratio of 400:1, which, it claims, can even reach a dynamic value of 1,000,000:1.

On the market now for 1,500 GBP: the new 47-inch JVC, the LT-47DV1BU.

Furthermore, the company emphasizes its responsibility to the environment, and claims to place particular value on exemplary power-consumption figures, sophisticated energy-saving functions (eco mode), and a resource-conserving choice of materials.

JVC has announced prices of 1,100 GBP for the 37-inch model and 1,500 GBP for the 47-inch model. No list price is currently available for the 42-inch model.
