Cheap BenQ MP615P DLP projector
It doesn’t always have to be expensive: If you’re willing to compromise on quality, you'll get plenty of fun out of the new BenQ MP615P, which is advertized for just 300 GBP online.
October 14, 2009 — Of course, you won’t get Full HD for this price; with the recently released MP615P, you’ll have to make do with a resolution of just 800 x 600 pixels. But, then, the new model isn’t meant for high-demand, home-theater applications; the manufacturer sees the device being used mainly in small rooms and for business presentations in offices.
Underlining its propensity for fast, fuss-free setup, the manufacturer emphasizes that the MP615P will do its job correctly even when positioned at angle or used without a proper projection screen.

A cheap all-round projector: the BenQ MP615P.
With 2,700 lumens, the new BenQ should also be bright enough for most applications — and it’s got a specified contrast ratio of 2,600:1. What’s more, says BenQ, buyers will find that the device is especially economical in terms of both maintenance and power consumption, claiming to require no filter-changes whatsoever and to consume no more than 230 watts. The MP615P is on sale now.
