Those looking for a high-end player, but who are put off by the price tag on Denon’s DVD-A1 UD, will find all of their prayers answered here: It’s got versatile, high-quality audio outputs, perfect Blu-ray playback, multimedia functionality, and superb build quality. Apart from the long disc-loading times, our only real criticism goes to the slight colour errors in up-scaled DVD signals.
