PICTURE QUALITY:
Thanks to an impressive 4k transfer, this 1982 classic looks better than ever. ‘Perfect’ is too strong here, but the picture easily earns eight points.

Vangelis’ grandiose, synth score also sounds better than ever, thanks to a new mix. For the first time, too, this release introduces surround effects such as spaceships hovering through the picture.
