Blu-ray Movie Review
Movie: Movie adaptation of an Old English poem about the warrior Beowulf, who faces an evil demon.

Televisions.com thinks:
Very entertaining — and the special effects are excellent.
Still, we’re a bit doubtful of the 12 rating —
this movie is definitely not suitable for a 12-year-old!
Movie Details:

PICTURE QUALITY:
The picture had us absolutely mesmerized! It’s ultra-crisp throughout — whether it’s faces, hair, or landscapes, they’re all impressively sharp.
(10 out of 10 points)
SOUND QUALITY:
In the wealth of action sequences, the 5.1-channel mix does the picture proud, and the bass rumbles like there’s no tomorrow. The surround effects are also top class.
(9 out of 10 points)
BONUS MATERIAL:
A bit on the weak side — a ‘making of’ (25:09) and ten mini-featurettes (totaling 22 minutes), as well as some relatively superficial pieces about monsters (6:56), computer animations (5:25), leading man Ray Winston (1:59), and the underlying literature (5:13). You’ll also find deleted scenes (11:31) and a photo gallery.
(4 out of 10 points)
