PICTURE QUALITY:
The gain in plasticity and detail resolution compared to the DVD is immense, but bright areas tend to clip slightly.

Here again, the TrueHD sound is clearly superior to the DVD’s Dolby Digital track. The Blu-ray release shines with fantastic deep bass and impressive surround effects. There’s no doubt about it — full marks!

BONUS MATERIAL:
All the extras from the double DVD are present here, spread across two discs, and the two-hour (!) ‘making of’ is now presented in 1080-line resolution. Thanks to BD-Java programming, the user can set bookmarks for their favourite scenes, and the coloured buttons on the remote control allow you to navigate though picture galleries. Also, a timeline appears while you scan forward or back through the film.
