Blu-ray Movie Review
Movie: Perhaps the most unlikely candidate, overweight panda bear Po (Jack Black) is selected as the legendary Dragon Warrior — even though he knows no Kung Fu and is generally not much of a hero. Somehow, he must protect his home from the dangerous leopard Tai Lung…

Televisions.com thinks:
Extremely lovable, well-produced fun for
the whole family — you’ll laugh your head off!
Movie Details:
Blu-ray: Kung Fu Panda
Length: 92 minutes
Genre: Animation
Studio: Dreamworks
Cast: Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen
Director: Mark Osborne, John Stevenson
Rating: PG (U.K., USA), FSK 6 (Germany)
Released: 2008
Picture Format: 2.35:1 (anamorphic)
Soundtracks: Dolby TrueHD 5.1 (English), Dolby Digital 5.1 (German)
PICTURE QUALITY:
Stunning — as you’d expect from an animated caper of this caliber. But since the movie has more darkly lit sections than do comparable releases such as "Cars" or "Bee Movie", the ‘wow’ moments don’t come along quite as often. Nevertheless, "Kung Fu Panda" does more than enough to earn the top score.

SOUND QUALITY:
In terms of sound, too, "Kung Fu Panda" can hold its own next to other Pixar greats such as "Cars" or "Ratatouille" — this is superb cinema! The on-screen action enjoys constant audio backup, with pronounced rear effects, sounds moving across the room, and hefty onslaughts of bass.
(9 out of 10 points)
BONUS MATERIAL:
Sadly a bit weak! There’s an audio commentary, a picture-in-picture track, and interactive games, as well as "Pushing the Boundaries" (7:07), "Conversation International: Help Save Wild Pandas" (2:00), "Sounds and Moves" featurettes (35:03), "Land of the Panda" (25:44), and an "Animation Video Jukebox".
