For a comedy, “Tropic Thunder” has very forceful sound, but that’s no wonder really; after all, it’s a comedy about a war movie — there’s bound to be a few rockets and grenades involved! The surround-rich music backdrop — mostly classic rock from the likes of The Rolling Stones and Steppenwolf — is also a lot of fun.
