Televisions.com thinks:
Not exactly clever, but still a cool adaptation of
the 1980s TV cartoon series.
The special effects are breathtaking!

PICTURE QUALITY:
Day-lit scenes achieve absolutely top results — crisp, detailed, and vivid. Nighttime shots reveal a bothersome graininess that detracts from the impression of sharpness.

SOUND QUALITY:
The 5.1 mix simply blew us away! Rockets, MG salvos, and debris fly past the listeners’ ears with brutal force. Surround sound doesn’t get better than this!
